We are in a new age of artificial intelligence (AI), data science (DS), and machine learning (ML) and their intensive and comprehensive applications.
To nurture and showcase ‘nationally best, internationally outstanding’ DSAI including their technical landscape and domain-specific innovations, and promote collaborations across disciplines and between academia, industry and government, this DSAI@MQ research network, initiated and led by Distinguished Chair in AI, Australian Research Council Future Fellow (Level 3), Prof Longbing Cao and many other DSAI leaders at Macquarie University, is dedicated to fostering, delivering and demonstrating whole-of-Macquarie’s research excellence, leadership and activities in AI, DS, ML/deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, humanoid robotics, intelligent systems, and enterprise innovation, etc. at the DataX Research Centre, School of Computing and Macquarie University at large.
Over time, we organize high-profile DSAI excellence-oriented research and engagement activities, including
- an annual Macquarie’s DSAI Spotlight series close to the end of each year;
- a monthly Macquarie’s Distinguished DSAI Seminar series by distinguished international DSAI leaders and thinkers;
- weekly reading groups on AI, data science, deep/machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, robotics and enterprise applications.
at Macquarie.
Interested audience are welcome to join these activities and Sign Up DSAI@MQ to receive notices of relevant DSAI developments at MQ.
